The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) has announced it will extend the meaningful use attestation deadline to April 30, 2015. Originally, the final date to submit was Feb. 28 for traditional attesters – with an alternate deadline of April 30 for those using the meaningful use flex option.

The Medicaid office now is extending the deadline for all Medicaid eligible providers to April 30 to minimize confusion and allow more time for submitting data through the MAPIR, the FSSA portal. Be advised that for the 2014 attestation period, you will need to supply meaningful use attestation documentation through the portal at the time of attestation in order to be paid.

If you need guidance on attesting, contact Purdue Healthcare Advisors. If you have questions or need help with the MAPIR portal, contact the FSSA.

Note: The Medicare attestation deadline remains Feb. 28, 2015.
