WPS now has a single point of contact for Medicare issues

Effective Feb. 3, 2014, many phone numbers you have used to call WPS, our Indiana Medicare carrier, have changed. You no longer need to call different numbers for Customer Service, Part A Appeals, Part B Reopenings, Provider Enrollment or EDI.

Now, you can call a single number to reach any of these areas. Follow the prompts to be connected to the appropriate staff for assistance. Please note, it is very important that you provide all information requested so you can be routed to the appropriate area.

Also, please have available the information needed for up-front automation of provider authentication. Offering this information up-front ensures the call will flow as quickly and productively as possible.

For more information on single point of contact or up-front automation of provider authentication (including telephone numbers and authentication elements), please visit the WPS website, select your contract and then refer to the Customer Service page under the Department tab.
