In just a few weeks, the Indiana legislature will begin its work on hundreds of important bills, and you can play an important role at the Statehouse by volunteering as the Physician of the Day.

The program allows you to treat minor ailments of state legislators and their staffs. But you also advocate for your patients by discussing important issues with your senators and representatives. Participants are introduced before the House and Senate, and can observe the legislative process.

Volunteers are needed in February from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT. You must be comfortable performing basic CPR.

For questions, contact Erin Mays or call (317) 261-2060 or (800) 257-4762.
