Joan Vidic becomes new ISMA-A president

Joan Vidic of Elkhart was installed as the new president of the Indiana State Medical Association Alliance (ISMA-A) during the ISMA-A and ISMA conventions.

Joan VidicAmong her goals, Vidic said she intends to continue building the organization’s relationship with medical students.

Vidic also said the Alliance will continue to focus on teaching healthy lifestyles at preschool and elementary schools in local communities. Another goal is to promote goodwill and membership with the county and district alliances.

A past president of District 13 Medical Alliance, Vidic is married to neurologist Thomas Vidic, M.D., a past president of the ISMA.
