Perhaps you’ve used resources in the past from the website of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), part of the National Institutes of Health. But NIDA has advised that the site now has new and updated materials in its portfolio.

If you are interested in improving clinical outcomes in patients with drug abuse and addiction problems, check out some of the available materials, such as:

  • The NIDA Drug Use Screening Tool
  • Screening for Drug Use in General Medical Settings: Resource Guide
  • Screening Tool Quick Reference Guide
  • Patient Resources

Find the NIDA site here. If you have questions, direct them here.
