Sandy (Distler) Miller, CCS-P, recently joined the ISMA staff as director of Practice Management. A certified coder, Miller previously served on the ISMA staff in the Practice Management Department from 2006 through 2009.

Before returning to the ISMA, Miller worked with Bill Dunbar and Associates, a local consulting firm focused on medical documentation, coding and reimbursement to improve compliance. She is an involved member with Indiana Medical Group Management Association and Executive Women in Health Care.

A graduate of Indiana State University, Miller and her husband, David, have five children.
