The deadline to submit your application for the ISMA’s Medical Mission scholarship is just a few days away. The annual stipend of up to $3,000 is offered to an ISMA member planning to provide medical care to people in other countries from now through 2013.

But hurry! You have only until Nov. 1 to apply. Application letters should be submitted to your county medical society or county alliance with the following information:

• Your name, address, email and phone number(s)
• Dates and location of proposed trip
• Information about other sponsors and/or mission coordinators
• Appropriate documentation, including expense details

Your county medical society or alliance will forward your application letter to the ISMA. Then, one recipient will be selected by random drawing during the November meeting of the ISMA Board of Trustees.
