If you are planning an overseas mission trip, the ISMA might be able to help.
The annual Medical Mission Scholarship, created in 2001, provides up to $3,000 to help defray the cost of providing medical care to people in other countries.
Applications are being accepted until Nov. 1 for mission trips taken now through 2013. To apply, write to your county medical society or county alliance and include the following information:
- Your name, address, email and phone number(s)
- Dates and location of proposed trip
- Information about other sponsors and/or mission coordinators
- Appropriate documentation, including expense details
One recipient will be selected in a random drawing during the November 2012 ISMA Board meeting.
