Various federal and state agencies require employers, including physicians’ offices, to post certain notices within their workplace. Several factors, such as the number of employees, determine which posters are necessary for a particular business.
Posting requirements occasionally change as new rules are issued by federal and state agencies. For example, the National Labor Relations Board recently issued a rule requiring most private-sector employers to post a notice by Jan. 31, 2012, that explains employees’ rights under the National Labor Relations Act.
