You can enhance physician presence at the Statehouse by simply volunteering as the Physician of the Day during the Indiana General Assembly.

This one-day commitment allows you to treat minor ailments of legislators and their staffs, while providing you a chance to discuss important issues with your senators and representatives.

Also, participants are introduced before the House and the Senate and have the opportunity to observe the legislative process. Volunteers are needed in February.
