The ISMA announces a new preferred vendor partnership with Allscripts to bring you member discounts and additional training for electronic health record (EHR) implementation and usage. For ISMA members, Allscripts has agreed to apply an 11 percent minimum discount to Allscripts Professional EHR, Practice Management and Revenue Cycle Management systems.

For other non-discounted products, such as the “MyWay” applications available by subscription for smaller practices, you may qualify for an additional six months of online training.

And Allscripts offers physicians one-stop shopping. Debra McVey, Allscripts director of Strategic Alliances, explained, “One of our three practice management/EHR products will be the optimum solution, as determined by the specialty, complexity and business requirements of the practice. Our sales consultants work with each physician practice to evaluate and determine which application would maximize operations – to further enhance patient care and increase net revenues.”

Allscripts already has a client base of 180,000 physicians and 50,000 practices. In addition to EHR systems, the company offers electronic prescribing, connectivity, practice and document management, and management of the revenue cycle and supply chain.

Your ISMA contact at Allscripts is Janet Bailey. Identify yourself as an ISMA member to qualify for the partner discount. Learn more about Allscripts on their website.
