ISMA Advocacy on Anthem Claims Processing/Payment Problems

The Indiana State Medical Association has filed a national compliance dispute against Wellpoint/Anthem on behalf of all physicians to resolve claims processing and payment delays resulting from a flawed computer system migration.

The problems started in October 2007 and have continued nearly 22 months for claims in Anthem’s BlueCard program.
