The Essentials of Compliance and Legal Health Records

Part 1 - Compliance
 The day will begin with a concise and complete summary of the many new and updated laws,regulations and industry standards that have been implemented during 2011 for the purpose of incorporating these requirements into the medical group practice's current policies, procedures and day-to-day operating procedures.

Part 2 - Legal health records
 The second part of the day will be devoted to the creation, use, disclosure, retention and destruction of legal health records - whether they exist in paper or electronic format. The purpose of this portion of the program is to provide a concise and complete summary of the "essential" rules that must be incorporated into the medical group practice's policies, procedures and day-to-day operating procedures regarding legal health records.

Included with presentation: manual, light breakfast and lunch. Bring your 2012 CPT coding book.
