If you’re concerned about prescription drug and heroin abuse in Indiana, want to help patients conquer addictions or want to learn more and receive continuing medical education (CME) credit, you won’t want to miss the Indiana attorney general’s eighth annual Prescription Drug Abuse and Heroin Symposium.

ISMA is sponsoring the event, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 30-31, at the Sheraton Indianapolis at Keystone Crossing. The symposium offers opportunities to meet professionals from state and federal agencies, law enforcement, business, academia and clinical settings. Participants and panelists include former prescription drug users, treatment providers, counselors, educators, state and national leaders and advocates. Speakers and breakout sessions will examine critical and emerging topics associated with this public health and safety crisis.

The ISMA has designated this live activity, presented by the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, for a maximum of 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
