Public Policy

ISMA public policy provides the direction of the association on health care issues facing Indiana physicians today and in the future.

ISMA's public policy is set by resolutions introduced each year by member physicians. Each year, physician delegates at the ISMA annual convention vote on whether to approve the resolutions for publication in the ISMA Public Policy Manual

The resolutions that are passed guide ISMA's advocacy and mission. Because ISMA is the largest physician association in the state, its public policy truly directs the House of Medicine regarding the practice of medicine and the welfare of patients in Indiana.
